Cub skipper Joe Maddon summed it up succinctly.
"I"m just glad it wasn"t a THREE game series" he said after the Cubs second shellacking at the hands of the Detroit Tigers. The 11 homers they allowed over the last three games were the most since 1955.
That"s a long time ago....
